Dr. Fix graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, IL, in 1981, with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Specialized areas included contact lenses and low vision. He completed his clinical externship program at the West Side VA Hospital in Chicago, IL. This program specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, particularly glaucoma. Dr. Fix is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association.
