Dr. Rodney Guiseppi is a native of Trinidad and Tobago and has also lived in Jamaica and Belize. He attended medical school at The University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica and graduated in 2015. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and Ophthalmology residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. in 2022. Dr. Guiseppi then completed a surgical retina fellowship at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2024. He has a special interest in the surgical management of diabetic retinopathy complications and retinal detachments.
He loves spending time at the gym and looking at historical documentaries. He is very happy about his move to Southern Illinois with his wife and son.
