Dr. Micah Brasel grew up in Farina, IL. She brings 15 years of Optometric knowledge to Marion Eye Center. She graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a degree in Biological medicine and a minor in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Optometry in 2010 from Indiana University. Dr. Brasel provides comprehensive optometric care, including family eye care, treatment and management of ocular diseases, contact lenses, and post-operative surgical care. She is companionate about Optometry and feels a strong patient doctor relationship is valuable. Even the most anxious patients seem at ease with her. Dr Brasel and her husband, Klayton, live in Vandalia with their two daughters. She enjoys spending time at the lake or beach with her family and friends.
