Dr. Kalaher graduated from Southern Illinois University earning a bachelor’s degree in 1984. He then attended Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated in 1989. Dr. Kalaher has been practicing optometry in the Carbondale area since 1989. He has extensive experience in primary care optometry, especially in contact lens fitting. He particularly enjoys working with geriatric patients and has been providing eye care in some southern Illinois nursing homes since 2001.
