Dr. Brenda Hutchison received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in May 1991 from Augustana College, Sioux Falls, SD. She graduated from the University of Missouri –St. Louis, St. Louis, MO, in May 1996. In 1995 and 1996, Dr. Hutchison completed a clinical rotation accentuating primary eye care with a wide variety of patients at Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, IL, co-management rotation highlighting pre-operative and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery care at Jones Eye Clinic, Sioux Falls, SD, and an externship in hospital-based optometry, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disorders, glaucoma, and anterior segment disease at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, Marion, IL
